Easy Homemade Mason Jar Fruit Parfait

No one wants to spend a lot of time preparing food when your camping and who wants to spend time cooking when you could be out on the river, cycling backroads or taking a lazy stroll? This simple fruit parfait will give you all the energy you need and be a tasty start to the day.

The basic ingredients are granola, muesli and your selection of yoghurt and fruit. For this one we used a strawberry yoghurt with fresh strawberries and frozen mango. Use any in season fresh fruit and why not try homemade yoghurt?

When it comes to the muesli and granola we just picked them off the supermarket shelf. Don’t make life complicated.

  • Mason Jar (various sizes)


  • 1 container yogurt
  • 1 cup muesli
  • 3/4 cup granola
  • 1 cup mangos diced
  • 1 cup strawberries chopped


  • Add each of the ingredients to the mason jar and seal.
  • Or alternatively just mix the ingredients in a mixing bowl before scooping in to a mason jar.
  • Keep the finished breakfast in the refrigerator or cool box.
  • Simply pour into a bowl or spoon it straight out of the mason jar.
