Seasonal Trail Mix

This is another of those really simple no cooking trail mixes. When it comes to your choice of nuts, dried fruits and the other essential food group (chocolate), be imaginative and follow the seasons.

  • 1 cup chocolate covered raisins
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 cup dried apricots (Halloween) or dried cranberries (Christmas)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds (Halloween) or walnuts (Christmas)


  • Nothing to complicated just mix the ingredients in a bowl and store in an airtight container.


I like the rich taste of strong flavored dark chocolate but milk chocolate is fine.
If you’d like white chocolate chips you can offset the extra sweetness by using dark chocolate covered raisins instead of the yoghurt coated option.
Whatever your preference this makes a fun festive and seasonal trail mix.
