What to consider when buying a Camp Stove.

This may be your first campfire stove purchase. Here are some questions to consider before you buy:

1. What size do I want?

2. Where will the campfire stove go?

3. How often will I use it?

4. Is it for just me or a group?

5. Will I need electricity if my camp is at a remote location without power sources nearby?

The good news is if you use the SoloStove we’re highlighting below there’s no need for electricity. In fact, you don’t even need to carry fuel. Just hunt around for twigs and sticks.

The SoloStove Campfire Stove is a great option for anyone who wants to have a campfire without the risk of starting an out-of-control fire. It’s lightweight, easy to transport, and doesn’t require any fuel or electricity. You can use it anywhere – even in remote locations where there are no power sources nearby!

This stove will keep your campsite safe from embers that could start a forest fire. And if you want more than just one person cooking at once, this stove has two burners so you can cook side by side with friends!

How Solo Stoves work.

First, let’s understand how this stove works on a scientific level:

Solo Stove Titan has two major parts that make up the system: an outer double-wall construction and an inner chamber where combustion takes place. The outside wall is made out of stainless steel that helps contain heat and direct airflow into the inner chamber. It also reflects heat back to where a pot would sit for added efficiency. The inner chamber is made out of a composite that can withstand very high temperatures and direct flames. Both parts are crucial in the overall design because they work together to create evenly distributed, intense heat through the use of 360° airflow.

The upper vent holes about 1/3 of the way down are where the magic happens. They’re positioned in such a way that they direct air towards the top of the inner chamber to create a secondary burn. This is what gives users their faster boil times, more intense fire, and less smoke.

But how can this be? A stove doesn’t have to be complicated to work correctly. In this case, the bottom vent holes create a seal around the bottom of the inner chamber that traps air inside and creates an upward draft. This is what causes fuel (sticks and twigs) to burn faster because it’s being compressed and lit by extreme heat. The result is a hotter fire that’s less prone to smoke.

Our Signature 360° Airflow Design™ creates a super-efficient burn using nothing but sticks and twigs as fuel. The lower vent holes draw in air which heats up inside Titan’s double-wall construction. The heated air ignites after leaving the upper vent holes, creating a spectacular secondary burn. That means faster boil times, a hotter fire, and less smoke!
